Monitor Locally
Water sensors and onboard electronics continuously evaluate conditions near the dock.
About Dock Sentinel
Dock Sentinel is focused on giving waterfront owners and operators greater awareness of electrical conditions in the water surrounding their docks.
Develop practical monitoring technology that identifies abnormal electrical activity, provides immediate local warnings, and gives owners clearer information before people enter the water.
Why Dock Sentinel Exists
Waterfront electrical systems operate in a demanding environment. Weather, corrosion, aging equipment, damaged wiring, boat lifts, shore power, and other electrical infrastructure can contribute to changing conditions around a dock.
Dock Sentinel was created to add continuous situational awareness by monitoring electrical conditions in the water itself and identifying abnormal activity that may require investigation.
Our Design Philosophy
The core monitoring and alert function is designed to operate at the dock without depending on internet or cloud connectivity.
Water sensors and onboard electronics continuously evaluate conditions near the dock.
Clear status indication, a high-visibility beacon, and audible warning provide awareness where it matters most.
Wireless connectivity supplements the local system with remote status, diagnostics, history, and notifications.
Built for the Waterfront
Continued Development
Dock Sentinel LLC continues to develop, test, validate, and refine the Dock Sentinel hardware, embedded firmware, monitoring infrastructure, and connected customer platform.
Current work includes field evaluation, firmware advancement, cloud telemetry integration, customer-portal development, system diagnostics, and preparation for future commercial deployment.
